Centeno’s light fracturing space and pattern constructions are concerned with systems displaying abrupt discontinuous change: catastrophe theory. Rosemarie Fiore typically produces artwork out of the actions of mechanisms. She converts popular technology such as lawn mowers, fireworks and amusement park rides into painting machines producing astonishingly impressive 10-foot high, dramatically colorful paintings. Her unique circular designs conjure up a ghost-like virtual arsenal. Xavier Figueroa re-constructs memory’s location with stage-set like artifacts of constructions of urban landscape. With digital media Marita Ibanez investigates the look of Peruvian cities, architecture as it is rooted in varied parts of the culture to create extensive wall constructions.
