Bruno Romeda: Inaugural - the noted Italian sculptor’s inaugural exhibition at Stephen Haller Gallery.

A study in contrasts, the world-renowned sculptures of Bruno Romeda are both intimate and grand, rough-hewn and elegant, immutable yet suggestive of the passage of time. Whether on the intimate scale of a coffee table or the grand scale of an exterior installation framing a breathtaking view, the works are powerful. Romeda’s highly textured surface provides a gorgeous contrast to the reductive elegance of the simple geometric forms that characterize his work.

Born in Brescia, Italy, the artist lives and works in Brescia, the South of France, and New York. His work is included in public collections such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, the Kasama Nuchido Museum of Art Japan, and the Musee Art Contemporain, Nice, France.
