This event has ended.

Approaching this exhibition from a visual perspective - not one based on subject matter - Hildebrand-Mills uses cotton ball packaging and cut magazine pieces, elements hover over worlds of air, sea, and fire, creating a deeply immersive experience.

Enlarging upon the floating theme are 100 intentionally slightly deflated pillows, hand-designed, circling each of the 100 small collages. Fuselage, port holes and portals all come to mind as the pieces topple across the gallery walls, inviting viewers to peer inside at the landscapes from a satellite perspective.

Nationally exhibited, one of Hildebrand-Mills' paintings was chosen by Anne Umland, Curator Painting and Sculpture, Museum of Modern Art, New York, NY, for inclusion for a juried exhibition at Pleiades Gallery, also in NYC. Another painting was awarded honors by Dr. Jerry Cullum, free-lance critic for Art in America. Her art has been featured in The Village Voice, Long Island Press, WHERE Magazine (New York), the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Creative Loafing (Atlanta, GA).
