In the dead of summer, the hours grow longer, sight blurs, the heat pressurizes thoughts and visions, time begins to bend. Direction is lost. We race into the past and into the future at equal speeds, obeying only rules detached from reality, severed from physics. In the darkness we feel our way across an infinite wasteland, through magic, prophecy, science fiction, folklore, and epic jams, for a pathway to understanding our moment. Believing in glory, and relishing absurdity. The cosmic wave to the future cuts out from beneath our feet and we are suspended in thought, in time and in space, in light and in heat. Searching for a sense of completion, the promise of a new horizon, and someone who has access to a pool.
