This event has ended.

Flaws inherent in language are strengths. Not being able to codify what is felt by experiencing art is one of its strengths. It gives rise to ‘talking around the thing’ but never getting at it. A cultural dialog ensues, then matter, the stuff of stuff, behaves like ceaseless energy.

My mind is the playground where the idea is the material to be worked. Permutations of the idea give rise to the use of materials to contextualize the ‘art’.

Addition by subtraction or subtraction by addition whether it’s in form/content/context. Sometimes it’s as simple as physically removing an element in an ordered systems form or context, thereby adding to its content. Or it could be adding an element to expose and enhance a flaw in an ordered system’s content. I feel compelled to use what is already here.

No art ‘object’ remains.

Bruce Ratner took my home.
