Miho Morita “Dream / Doomed songs”

This event has ended.

I was walking down the street in Brooklyn, I see the wall is covered with graffiti.
I see the curses of people, someone attempt to cover it up today but it will be painted again tomorrow.
A sore that never heals. The world is full of misery and devastation beyond repair.
All things are becoming tangled, complicated, a turbulent situation.
What is the reason behind existence?
The surveillance of society is an obscure anxiety.
I can’t escape from such a world, I must face it as an artist, as a Japanese person, as a woman.
I have come to the chaos of New York City to make art. Every day I wake up with different songs and different dreams.
For this project I am projecting my dreams and subconscious mind into the translucent screen.
I think all things consist of multiple aspects, and I am willingly trying to understand how they look.
