This event has ended.

Alyce Gottesman continues her ongoing examination of organic abstraction in her exhibition entitled “Interconnections”. Her paintings and works on paper reflect the interconnectedness between nature, geometric forms and space. The work is at once both intuitive and analytical, while exploring a spiritual connection with nature. Influences include both Wassily Kandinsky and Frank Lloyd Wright, for their concepts of integrating nature/organic forms with structure and geometry. Ms. Gottesman lives and works in Montclair, NJ and San Francisco, CA. She received a BFA from Carnegie-Mellon University and an MFA from School of Visual Arts. Her work has been exhibited extensively in the NY metro area and is in many private, public and corporate collections. She is a recipient of a NJ State Council on the Arts Fellowship, a Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation Fellowship and was awarded a residency at Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. Recent exhibition venues include the Paul Robeson Gallery in Princeton, NJ, George Segal Gallery at Montclair State University and Alfa Gallery in New Brunswick, NJ. Her work can be seen online at www.alycegottesman.com.
