"DIS Image Studio" Exhibition

In conjunction with DIS Magazine’s Stock Photography Issue, DIS Image Studio at The Suzanne Geiss Company will become the center of production for DIS Images – a serial project focused on manipulating the codes and trends in stock photography. DIS will invite a select group of artists and photographers to participate in what is to become an assembly line of image-making.
DIS Image Studio will be a platform for a revolving door of collaborators, fostering the production and dissemination of new work for DISimages.com – a fully functioning stock photography website. The gallery will be open to the public, and will allow for the “behind the scenes” of a photo studio, and a fluidity between cast, crew, and visitors.
DIS Magazine is a post-Internet lifestyle publication about art, fashion and commerce. Creating images, text and video for an online platform, DIS seeks to expand creative economies, and depict a world in which there is no ‘alternative.’ DIS involves a group of friends within and beyond the worlds of art, fashion, music, and technology.
