Text Machine is a solo exhibition of mixed media works by artist and writer Martha Raoli. Raoli’s work is an exploration in language and semantics as interpreted through the practice of traditional painting and street art. From text messages to postcards, song lyrics, pop culture references, and Kerouac’s iconic On the Road, Raoli unifies the duality of form and context present in the written word with the use of objects intended for the production of various methods of communication.
