This event has ended.

The work of Inés Fagalde Busquets is characterized by the obsessive way in which she uses color, texture, and form. Designing on the canvas with spatula and brush, she produces sensual compositions of sophisticated visual poetry. Human connections arise through the creative journey with solitude in the midst of multiplicity. Imaginary forms overflow with doors and stairs while others are subjugated into abstraction. A voice tells a story, both personal and collective, whispering questions, awaiting our reply.

Born in Tucumán, República Argentina in 1974, Inés Fagalde Busquets studied painting at the National University of Tucumán. She has won prestigious awards in Argentina and has exhibited her work widely including the Museum Timoteo Navarro in Tucumán. Fagalde Busquets taught art workshops in Mendrisio, Switzerland in 2008 and Joined Noho Gallery New York in 2011.
Her works are included in private collections in Argentina, Chile, México, Spain, Switzerland, Boston and New York.
