James Fuentes presents a solo exhibition by Lonnie Holley (Born 1950, Birmingham, Alabama. Lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia).
Holley’s interdisciplinary practice, which encompasses drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, performance and sound, culminates in this exhibition featuring important sculptural works by the artist. Like parables, Holley’s sculptures are both inspiring and diagrammatic. Each assemblage tells a story, which seems to suggest a way of living in the world.
