“Work In Progress On In Progress Work” Exhibition

The pictures in Work In Progress On In Progress Work are the result of the rezoning of Downtown Brooklyn in 2004, when the Fulton Mall and the areas that surrounding it went through a rapid transformation from a working-class neighborhood to a sea of luxury condos and large box stores. Over the last three years, Carl Gunhouse, Matthew Schenning and Jason John Würm have been making art in the shadow of this transformation. Their work focuses on the little moments, details and people of Downtown Brooklyn in the hopes of capturing life as it is before it dies out forever.
