Brooke Alexander Editions presents the new exhibition of two of the gallery’s artists, Richard Long and Matt Mullican. On view in the front gallery is Richard Long’s editioned work, ranging from large format text pieces such as 60 Minute Walk to the artist’s landscape series including the Rock Drawings portfolio.
The main gallery shows the wide variety of formats and materials that Matt Mullican has used over many years to catalog and categorize his extensive lexicon. One example is the 5-panel oilstick rubbing on canvas painting from his New Edinburgh Encyclopedia project. In addition to limited editions, such as the Organizational Legend portfolio, a number of Matt’s drawings and lightboxes are included in the exhibition.
