This event has ended.

Join Rae Maxwell, Inc. as the visionary multimedia artist and photographer shares her passionately inspired work in an exclusive, two-week exhibition at NYC’s Gallery Bar (120 Orchard St).

On the heels of a successful turn as the director of Maya Azucena’s “Dance Revolution” for One Billion Rising—an organization working to end violence against women and girls—Maxwell and RMI co-founder and VP, Corey “iLLspokinn” Lima will showcase never before exhibited work, as well as Maxwell’s most noted images, including Smoking Girls and shots from the series Lines in My Skin, a photographic interpretation of domestic violence.

Rae Maxwell has crossed the globe capturing images for events, brands, and personal collections. A self-taught photographer, videographer, editor and designer, Maxwell has exhibited her works in Canada and the United States, making a name for herself as an artist with a keen ability to capture emotion and provoke thought. The subject matter in her art is underscored by a characteristic commitment to the meaning behind each photograph.

In addition to excelling in her creative and personal endeavors, Rae Maxwell Inc., led by Maxwell and Lima, also maintains a strong focus on meeting the needs of their commercial clients. Maxwell has garnered respect for both her understanding and connection to a project and for consistently bringing new ideas to the table, thereby enhancing the finished product even beyond initial expectations.
