Continuing his ten-year research into happiness, icon of graphic design, Stefan Sagmeister, presents an intimate master class. Further developed through a series of traveling exhibitions in museum environments across North America, Sagmeister’s exploration into his own happiness reveals the growing merger between traditional design, fine art, and curatorial processes. Utilizing the exhibition as a form to present this evolving research, including Sagmeister’s use of mediation, cognitive therapy, and mood-altering pharmaceuticals, "Happiness? A Master Class with Stefan Sagmeister" showcases how increasing emphasis on participatory exhibitions has formed and informed the design practice.
