This event has ended.

Amos Eno Gallery presents, Florida Reflections SRQ, a solo exhibition of one of our longest standing members, Jane McClintock. An extension of her NYC Reflections series begun in 1982 and her Times Square Reflections series shown at Amos Eno Gallery in 2010, McClintock has turned her attention from the impersonal urban public spaces of New York to the natural landscapes and personal private spaces of her family home in Florida. McClintock photographs the reflections of the light on the glass doors inside and outside spaces of her home in Sarasota, Florida. These photographs serve as sketches for her final watercolor compositions, which twist our everyday visual experiences. The word “SRQ” in the exhibition title refers to the luggage tag designation for Sarasota.

Jane McClintock has been a member of Amos Eno Gallery since 1979. McClintock’s work is included in the collections of the Museum of the City of New York (MCNY); the Pepsico collection in Purchase, NY; and the University of Virginia Art Museum in Charlottesville, VA; among others, both public and private. She earned her BA from Marymount College and attended classes at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture prior to being awarded her MFA from Columbia University in 1961.
