"Spring Salon" A Group Exhibition

Gallery New World Stages

This event has ended.

In the gallery lobby and orchestra level are Philadelphia-based designer Nancy Weezy Forman large format giclée prints of rustic automobiles and nature. The vibrant colors are a wonderful experience to welcome in the new season of spring. Robert Wardell is a visiting artist from Colorado featured in the annex gallery with two of his mixed medium canvases that explore architectural elements and abstract imagery. Mexico-based artist Ercilia Cepeda presents seven dramatic works that provoke our inner demons about life and death and the everyday misunderstandings of the mental processes.

The mezzanine gallery presents twenty selected works from Swedish-born artist Johan Wahlstrom, "It’s Boring to Die" series. Four selected limited edition prints are also available to purchase from this series. Wahlstrom currently paints and makes his home in Barcelona. In the lower level, photographer and research scientist Mark Dempsey exhibits an acrylic mount photograph from his "Storm Watch" series from Tornado Alley. Cuban-born artist Guillermo P. Lorente Perez presents two surrealistic paintings with his forced geometric viewpoints. Lorente is currently working on his graphic novel titled “K4”, a story about the destiny of mankind. A new work by Bernard Stote entitled "Gridlock" is also included in the exhibition. Stotes new series is using layers of deconstructed alphabets to create forced perspectives of space.
