SHOW ROOM presents Welcome to the Buffet, a one-weekend exhibition of drawings and paintings by Eric Wendel. This will be the artist’s first solo exhibition in New York.

Born in Houston, TX, Eric Wendel currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. He graduated with a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI, in 2007. His most recent exhibition was a two-person show with David Roesing at MR Fine Art titled Art in Grade School, Hubris in Adults.

Bill Berkson, a poet & arts writer who came to prominence as a member of the New York School in the 1960s, will be reading new poems. Berkson has collaborated with Frank O'Hara, Joe Brainard, Philip Guston, Alex Katz and others; the past decade has seen the release of his selected poems, his art criticism, and a correspondence with Bernadette Mayer.

Geoffrey Nutter is a professor, currently at NYU and previously at the University of Iowa, reading from his latest collection, The Rose of January (Wave Books, 2013).

Among Paul Legault's recent projects is The Emily Dickinson Reader, an English-to-English translation of Emily Dickinson published by McSweeney's in 2012. He will be presenting a new work of experimental translation based on Walter Benjamin’s writing.
