This event has ended.

Throughout her paintings, one can see defined and repetitive circles juxtaposed with organic and random forms. The circle can represent many things: celestial and cosmic objects as well as cycles of time. These shapes show continuous movement and energy as each work represents a captured moment from Parish's ethereal world. The moments however are not solely relegated to the canvas and instead reach out to the viewer with their highly textured surfaces. Parish highlights these aspects with touches of gold throughout her work, further emphasizing the importance and reverence to the circle.

Upon the geometric foundation, she beautifully balances passages that are light and dark, shiny and matte, transparent and opaque. This defined order then gives way to a composition that is purely painterly. It is this contrast that ultimately captivates and draws the viewer into the painting for further contemplation.
