This event has ended.

The exhibition highlights Mrs. Landau's unique gift for visualizing connections among artists throughout
various stages of their creative production. The installation will focus on a number of artists whose work
has been collected in depth, offering a visual timeline that opens a dialogue amongst themselves. This
comprehensive survey will highlight Mrs. Landau’s unique collecting philosophy through the conversations
that occur when several artists are communicating at once. "VISUAL CONVERSATIONS: Selections from
the Collection" provides an opportunity to showcase artwork from "LEGACY: The Emily Fisher Landau
Collection", a traveling exhibition organized by the Whitney Museum of American Art that will tour the
United States from 2013 through 2015.

Painting, sculpture & photography from Fisher Landau Center for Art will be displayed alongside pieces
that are part of the historic pledge to the Whitney Museum of American Art. A number of artworks will
make their inaugural debut at the Center, including Jasper Johns "Flags" from 1986, an oil on canvas
measuring 26 x 33 inches, Ellsworth Kelly "Black White" from 1970, a triangular oil on canvas measuring
70 x 170 inches, Joseph Kosuth “Fetishism (Corrected) #7” from 1988, neon & offset on paper, 104 x 72
inches overall, Agnes Martin “Untitled #1” from 1995, acrylic and graphite on canvas measuring 60 x 60
inches, Andy Warhol "The Shadow" from 1981, synthetic polymer paint & silkscreen ink on canvas
measuring 60 x 60 inches and Terry Winters "Tessellation Figures (1)” from 2011, oil on linen measuring
