ART LOVERS is a series of paintings looking at the relationship between spectators and the objects of their gaze. Through the spectator we are revisiting voyeurism and eroticism throughout art history. In this series, it is the spectator who makes us discover shifts in the model/ artist/ spectator triangle. If Art can serve as the self-consciousness of our culture and distance us from ideology, art lovers can make us recognize our own voyeuristic nature.
