L. Parker Stephenson Photographs presents LICKED SUCK STACKED STUCK: A Confectionary History of Contemporary Sculpture, an exhibition of photographs made in 2010 by visual artist Paul Shore and art historian Nicole Root. The two collaborated by photographing recreations of iconic 20th century sculpture constructed from cotton candy, Twizzlers, Pez, Peeps, Nerds, Fruit Roll-Ups, Starburst, Jello-O and other similar materials.

From sculptural works by early masters Constantin Brancusi, Marcel Duchamp and Alberto Giacometti to land art by Robert Smithson and Andy Goldsworthy and installation pieces by Walter De Maria, Carl Andre, and Tara Donovan, Shore and Root provide a delicious overview of the last 100 years of Western sculpture in full caloric splendor.

Key works represented include Joseph Beuys' felt suits, Donald Judd's wall mounted boxes, Yayoi Kusama's Chair, Richard Serra's Torqued ellipses, David Smith's Cubi XIX, Christo and Jeanne-Claude's Gates that adorned Central Park in 2005 and, of course, Claes Oldenburg's Cake and Ice Cream among others.

This series was exhibited at the Brattelboro Museum & Art Center last year to great acclaim and multiple reviews.
