This event has ended.

Brooklyn Public Library’s Central Library houses a new multi-media exhibition, Released with Conviction. Created by The Center of Employment Opportunities (CEO), the new photo and audio exhibit follows nine former inmates after their release from incarceration. The images and accompanying interviews share their thoughts about reentry into their communities, their families and the workplace.

“The exhibition stood out to us because it described people building their lives back together,” said Brooklyn Public Library Manager of Exhibitions Barbara Wing. “The Library continues to be a valuable resource that not only helps people get back on their feet, but provides tools to encourage all patrons to succeed in their career endeavors.”
