In her first NYC solo exhibition “Baguette Hell", Korean conceptual artist Bang-Geul Han presents a real time Twitter-driven interactive video installation and a suite of artist-made iPad apps that are seemingly pointless yet playful, flirtatious and delightfully strange. Playing on the word “bagatelle” (as in a trifling or inconsequential thing), the exhibition explores the cross pollination between changing modes of communication and shifting boundaries of personal and public space. Viewers will be able to interact with the apps in the gallery and ultimately download them from Apple’s App Store.
