This event has ended.

School of Visual Arts (SVA) presents “True Lies,” an exhibition exploring modern notions of deception within photography, challenging today’s predominant understanding of the medium. The work of SVA alumni Josh Citarella (BFA 2010 Photography), Eric Graham (candidate for MFA 2013 Fine Arts), Bryan Kruger (BFA 2011 Photography), Naho Kubota (BFA 2007 Photography), Sebastian Mejia (BFA 2007 Photography), Kayode Ojo (BFA 2012 Photography), Kimberlee Venable (MFA 2011 Photography, Video and Related Media), and Aken Wahl (MFA 2012 Fine Arts) renders images and objects that defy gravity; represent fantastical observations; construct mysterious landscapes; and harbor fraudulent calamities. The exhibition is curated by Colleen O’Connor and Pacifico Silano.
