This event has ended.

St. John's University Department of Fine Arts is proud to announce the opening of the BFA Thesis Exhibition 2012. This exhibit is organized by the Department of Fine Arts and is presented with the cooperation of the Dorsky Gallery Curatorial Programs at their location in Long Island City. This is the second year of this collaboration between St. John's University and the Dorsky Gallery. The 2012 Thesis Exhibition was made possible in part by a generous donation from a member of the St. John's University McCallen Society.

The work of this year's thesis exhibition embraces diverse creative techniques and strategies that range from photography and video to graphic design and sculpture and from the deeply personal to the broadly cultural.

The opening reception will feature poetry and fiction read by English Department Majors and Creative Writing Minors: Jessica Hackett, Princess Ikatekit, Dean Kritikos, and Matthew Zazzarino.

The reading will begin at 3:00 pm Saturday, May 5.
This event is free of charge and accessible to the handicapped.
