This event has ended.

Since man is man, one of his main obsessions is time, his obsession is natural. Nature is full of time measurements, days, cycles, seasons. The real obsession of mankind relies on counting that time, assigning numbers and names to it i.e. minutes, months, centuries, and after that, trying to control it.

The real part of time that clashes with our creative minds is creating or shaping different art forms to represent a single moment, even a frame that has already passed and will never happen again.

Time is the measure of life, death, birth, work, fun, and TV. Time is objective, quantifiable, and is it our only “mistake”?

We can’t go forward or backwards, we live each second by the exact time. No more, no less. Every second is distinct, irrespective of outside forces.

Based on these thoughts, Rob Adalierd and NTSC (Claus Cibils), take you on a personal journey through still images which will never happen again, TIMEWRAP is an art form in evolution where the artist’s work evolves and develops based on two techniques: photography and time-lapse.
