This event has ended.

VALERI LARKO creates works that can be seen as at once beautiful and disturbing. Choosing the outskirts of urban areas as her subject she lovingly portrays the aging, sometimes crumbling infrastructure of cities. Painting on location, her works portray a landscape that is ever-present in our lives but rarely in our vision. From these industrial ruins she evokes a poignant sense of our changing world.

DEAN FISHER’s still life paintings breathe new life into the genre. Fisher’s work presents the viewer with a constructed environment focused on structural, commonplace objects. His singular rendering of light and texture set these works apart. Every object in his paintings demands a second look. Fisher’s flair for sparse, but dramatic compositions turns a classic style on its head.
