BRIC Arts | Media | Bklyn presents 8 Artists Making Sculpture: The 5th Annual Registry Exhibition, the first show of the 2012-13 contemporary art exhibition season. The exhibition will focus on artists whose three-dimensional works act to transform and activate the physical space around them. Guest curated by Jamie Sterns.
The exhibition includes sculpture by Jamie Felton, MaryKate Maher, Abraham McNally, Carolyn Salas, Ian Umlauf, and Matthew C. Wilson and site-specific works by Arielle Falk and Jong Oh, all of whom are Brooklyn-based and were selected exclusively from BRIC’s online Contemporary Artist Registry, the oldest and largest registry of Brooklyn’s visual artists. This is the fifth edition of the Registry show.
