James Cohan Gallery presents the gallery’s first exhibition with New York-based, Danish artist Jesper Just. The exhibition will mark the NY premiere of two important recent works; Sirens of Chrome (2010) filmed in Detroit and This Nameless Spectacle (2011) filmed in Paris and a new film work. The artist is well-known for unconventional storytelling that borrows from Hollywood’s polished filmmaking techniques while subverting the stereotypes that have come to be associated with the mainstream film industry.
