This event has ended.

Axelle New York’s current group show features works by Philippe Jacquet, Fabienne Delacroix, and Patrick Pietropoli, three French artists whose works the gallery has had the pleasure of representing for years. Pietropoli’s work features exquisitely detailed representations of Italian and French architecture. Jacquet’s surreal scenes play with light, water and the colors of twilight. Fabienne Delacroix’s are serene scenes of pastoral France.

Also on display is a select group of paintings by Spanish artist Xavier Rodes, whose work received a warm welcome at our sister gallery in Boston this summer. It is with much joy and excitement that we introduce Rodes in New York. Following his first exhibition in 1996, Rodes’ work, distinguished by its ground-breaking treatment of light and precise drawing, has been displayed at many galleries throughout Spain and in several international fairs such as those in Strasbourg, London and Madrid.
