The gallery will present an exhibition of new works by Huang Yong Ping. Exploring formal and conceptual practices from both Eastern and Western art traditions, Huang Yong Ping draws on religion, politics, and a sense of place, to create works that explore and respond to cultural manifestations, stereotypes, and practices. Using taxidermied animals, a material present in his earlier work, Huang Yong Ping will create three installations that comment on destruction, power, and the end of time.
