This event has ended.

White Columns presents, in our occasional ‘Other People’s Projects’ series, photographs from the archives of the New York-based British artist Nicola Tyson. Tyson shot the photographs in the fall of 1978 (while attending art school) at London’s now legendary club ‘Billy’s’. The photographs depict the earliest moments and the central players (inc.- Boy George, Steve Strange, et. al.) in what would become the New Romantic music scene of the early 1980s. An essay by writer Michael Bracewell will accompany the exhibition.
