Scott Hunt "Then the Darkness Fell"
Schroeder Romero & Shredder
This event has ended.
In his series of new charcoal drawings, Then the Darkness Fell, artist Scott Hunt continues to explore his vision of a dystopian America. Hunt skillfully exploits the mysterious and obscuring nature of nighttime to create images that are enigmatic, humorous, and oddly beautiful. With characteristic sardonic wit and a flair for the dramatic, Hunt gives us modern-day allegories that examine themes and issues such as urban sprawl, the racism of the political right, the primordial fear of the dark, the dissolution of the middle class, and the aftermath of personal loss.
