Mitchell-Innes & Nash presents fifteen etchings by Lucian Freud currently on view in the uptown gallery.
Print-making was an integral part of Freud's practice throughout his artistic career. The selection of prints on view spans twenty years of his output from 1987 - 2007. Subjects range from portraits of Freud’s friends and immediate family to a lush view of his garden. Included in the exhibition are well-known images such as: Bella in Her Pluto T-Shirt; Head and Shoulders of a Girl; Self-Portrait: Reflection; Pluto Aged Twelve and Painter's Garden.
