This is the artist's eighth solo show at Sperone Westwater and will feature three major painting and one sculpture from the early 1980s. By incorporating accessible and unconventional materials from everyday life, Merz's works are reminders of the constantly changing relationship between nature and man in the rapid industrialization of the twentieth century.
