Tools, pipes, and toys are visual resources for Wilkinson's new ceramic sculpture. The artist creates a set of related parts and, like a set of blocks, combines several to complete each work. The resulting sculptures emphasize the physical properties of clay and glaze: weight, gravity, tension and reflectivity.
