This event has ended.

Initially conceived in 2005 on the heels of his "Antipersonnel" project on landmines, the images in "Grand Organs of Paris" were finally realized in 2009. Designed to complement the restraint or opulence of a church's columns and arches, these massive musical instruments sit perched and nestled on balconies behind the congregation. Often overlooked by the crowd below, the structures loom over the backs of an unsuspecting audience. Dallaporta's photographs, however, reveal to the viewer the organs' most intricate details.
