Brogan Ganley will present some new works created during and after her artist residency at the Andy Warhol /Long Island Nature conservancy. Her work has always focused on her connection to nature and her memories of the ocean and landscape from her childhood in rural New Zealand.
Sheila Goloborotko uses organic shapes and elements of nature as a vehicle for her dreams and memories, traveling from the unconscious to the conscious and back.
Using her physical memory along with the GPS data, Hilary Lorenz creates visual maps specific to each trail run she completes on a mountain. Her artwork depicts abstract, intuitive time lines that mark a spatial journey of inner transformation.
