Robert Greene Exhibition
Robert Miller Gallery
This event has ended.
Robert Miller Gallery presents an exhibition of abstract paintings and works on paper created in the past two years by Robert Greene. Greene’s process is a remix where something new is created from the repositioning of individual materials. The works are oil paint on acid free vellum, cut out and applied to quarter-inch-thick aluminum panels that hang flush with the wall. Light and atmosphere shine through the color and texture. Memory and individual dialogues are evoked. Each work is titled after a person or reminiscence, alluding to portraiture and intimacy through formal means.
