Crossing Art Gallery presents “Flood of Color” a group exhibition curated by Sunny Shin that explores the diverse styles currently taking place in Korean Contemporary Art. Color has many connotations that extend far past the word’s most-common definitions. In Asian culture, specifically Korean, the word color is used to describe someone with personality. As such, for this exhibition, color is used as a metaphor to reflect each artist’s unique approach, style and individuality. “Flood of Color” features the work of nine contemporary artists who work in a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, sculpture, photography and installation. The exhibition includes work by Jaehi Ahn, Kim Eun, Hochul Lee, Woolim Lee, Jeongmin Park, Jiyong Park, Hyojeong Nam, Hyungsub Shin, and Jongshik Shin. .
