Noboo Kawaguchi’s exhibition "Loving New York" includes new prints that focus on the uniqueness of New York City. Although a native of Osaka, Japan, Noboo is fascinated with New York City's ability to not only tolerate many nationalities, but to use its diversity as an asset in creating a culture where everyone is very different, yet all still consider themselves to be New Yorkers. In her prints, Noboo reflects the warmth and happiness of New Yorkers showing how each person rejoices in being different. Noboo has tried to portray the special happiness of various New Yorkers who have very different lives, but who each love a city that encourages them to be different. "Loving New York" is a tribute to New York City's special identity as a multinational Metropolis of free-thinking people.
