This event has ended.

The show will feature BAR 1-9, a massive, multi-panel abstract mural in blood and resin.

Through a self-invented process, Jordan Eagles suspends, encases, and permanently preserves animal blood, salvaged from slaughterhouses, in acrylic plexiglass and UV resin. His innovative technique challenges nature by preventing the works from decomposing. The works are designed to retain the blood's natural colors, textures and to expose its finite details. When spot lit, the works become more translucent, cast shadows, and project an intense glow onto the wall behind them. This effect reveals multiple layers of blood floating in the transparent resin and makes the works appear as if they are illuminated from within.

Eagles' unique, multidimensional works explore themes of regeneration and the intangible connections between body, spirit and nature. The allegorical potential of his raw and precious materials form a compelling multi-sensory experience-providing a novel tale of death to life.
