This event has ended.

In her newest series of small and large-scale collages, Holli Schorno continues to investigate the relationship between organic and man-made environments. Using meticulously cut fragments from discarded home repair books, mechanical instructions, diagrams, maps and the like, Schorno transforms open fields of white paper into startling new landscapes that are as much about drawing as they are collage. A continuing thread of cut-out lines links individual panels, flowing into each other like a game of cosmic telephone. Schorno builds upon the themes of her last exhibition by literally and figuratively “adding on” increasingly colorful source material and asserting the human presence in subtle figural inclusions of carpenters and mechanics… people who make things work. Holli Schorno has exhibited nationally since the late 1990s, including exhibitions at the The Newark Museum, the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, the Nassau County Museum, and the Hunterdon Museum of Art. This is the artist’s third solo exhibition at Pavel Zoubok Gallery.
