ART 101 will close an outstanding season with a salute to the art students graduating from The Brooklyn Latin School -- AVETE DISCIPULI!
The Brooklyn Latin School (TBLS) is a public high school located on the border of the Bushwick and Williamsburg neighborhoods of Brooklyn (brooklynlatin.org.) It provides a specialized, classical education, including the study of Latin in a disciplined academic environment.
TBLS offers the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma Programme, a challenging high school curriculum recognized worldwide for its high standards. IB Visual Arts at TBLS is a two-year full-time course. Students investigate and analyze works of art by artists while they develop and hone their own skills. Investigation Workbooks -- sketchbooks -- are used to explore and develop their observations and ideas.
