Andrew Darlow
Andrew Darlow is a photographer, author and digital imaging consultant. His editorial and fine-art work have been featured in numerous magazines, including Photo District News, Popular Photography, Professional Photographer and Rangefinder magazine. This group of photographs draws from a series of work entitled “Approaching Nirvana: A Modern Day Look at the Influence of Buddhism in Japan,” first exhibited in New York City in the year 2000. Darlow credits his time in Japan as an exchange student for greatly influencing his decision to pursue a career as a professional photographer. After studying for more than a year in Japan, he returned to the country on multiple occasions to travel and take pictures throughout the country.

Darlow is editor of The Imaging Buffet, an online resource with news, reviews, and interviews covering the subjects of photography, printing, and new media. His book, "301 Inkjet Tips and Techniques: An Essential Printing Resource for Photographers" (Course Technology, PTR) was chosen as the winner in the "Photography: Instructional/How-To" category of The National Best Books Awards, sponsored by USA Book News. His newest book is Pet Photography 101: Tips for Taking Better Photos of Your Dog or Cat (Focal Press). For photography tips, excerpts from his books, and other information, visit: http://www.imagingbuffet.com.
Andrew Darlow's love for New York City began as early as he can remember. As the only native New Jersian in his immediate family (everyone else is a native New Yorker), the bright lights, endless rows of store windows and towering stadiums and structures of New York City had a major impact on his suburban senses. For more than 20 years he has built an archive of images of a constantly changing canvas –the streets of New York City.

Phillip Angert
Phillip Angert is a photographer and artist based in New York City.

Shoots commissioned for clients such as Levis, Ray Ban, Diesel, Rock and Republic, AOL, Motorola, American Express, and others, have set Phillip apart by showcasing his original and alternative approach to traditional photography. His incorporation of stop-motion animated stills, vivid light-paintings and high energy photo shoots have created a reputation for Phillip as a noted photographer in dozens of industries. His work has been published in Vogue, Spin, Timeout, Paper, Dazed and Confused, W, Fader, Architectural Digest, New York Magazine, Sports Illustrated, and many others.

His integration of design, engineering, and photography, created a novel type of metal-etch processing that emerged as a new medium of artwork. By combining industrial techniques of circuit board fabrication and high-res digital photography, Phillip created a chemical screening process for joining digital photographs with copper metal. The union of his approach in the design and artistic communities has established a place in the collection of many prominent artists and musicians.

Misaki Matsui
A native of Kobe, Japan, Misaki Matsui is a photographer based in Brooklyn, New York.

Three years ago she abandoned her conventional career as a marketing planner for advertising companies in Tokyo and Osaka, quit her orchestral violinist position, and moved to NYC with her dream of a whole new start. She experienced the 1995 earthquake in Kobe, Japan but she remains full of hope. Her featured project is: New Yorkers with a Dream - portraits of artists in the process of following their dream.
