John McWhinnie at Glenn Horowitz Bookseller presents an exhibition of new sculptures, "Dream Sequence 3:52:29 am–3:56:12 am" by Michael Counts. "Dream Sequence 3:52:29 am–3:56:12 am" is an extension of Monodramas, a new opera production directed and designed by Michael Counts in collaboration with the New York City Opera. The sculptural work featured in the gallery appears in the Monodramas production at the New York City Opera.
About Monodramas:
New York City Opera presents an evening of three groundbreaking one-act operas by John Zorn, Arnold Schoenberg, and Morton Feldman in this new multi-media production by director Michael Counts, which also features the work of choreographer Ken Roht, motionographer Ada Whitney, and video artist Jennifer Steinkamp. In performance from March 25–April 8 at the David H. Koch Theater, 20 Lincoln Center.
