This event has ended.

A group exhibition that takes as its focal point the incandescent light bulb, a utilitarian, everyday object that has been an enduring subject and material for artists in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. The incandescent bulb provided an alternative light source for artists and replaced traditional sources of illumination, such as the Vanitas candle and beams from heaven, as a modern icon in art.
