This event has ended.

Jess Hale committed to adding a new drawing or illustration to her blog ( http://blog.jesshale.com/ ) everyday for one year. The purpose was to overcome a 5 year post-graduate drawing block. These daily posts started off as observational; her apartment, the bathtub, her bed, (she was terrified). Eventually they became less inhibited and more personal; a variance of NYC slice of life and past memories. After a few months she started to include her writing, along with quotations, and a desire to express humor began to surface. At six months, a majority of the posts were cartoons. After completing her commitment on 10/10/11, this exhibition is the result of her 365 day endeavor.
