This event has ended.

Jen Bekman Gallery presents Night Windows, the debut solo exhibition of digital finger paintings by Jorge Colombo.

A flaneur for the digital age, Jorge Colombo strolls New York City, drawing iconic and everyday city scenes on his iPhone Brushes app. Each painting is unmistakably New York: familiar, grand and timeless, yet filtered by modern, cutting-edge technology. From silhouetted rooftop water towers and the illuminated Chrysler Building at night, to Fifth Avenue in the snow and anonymous, abstracted buildings defined only by their interior lights, Colombo finger paints on location.

Earlier this year, Chronicle Books, in partnership with 20x200, published New York: Finger Paintings by Jorge Colombo, which features 100 of the artist's lushly rendered illustrations of New York City and an essay by gallery founder Jen Bekman. Signed copies will be available to purchase from the gallery.
